The Prophet ï·º said when we pledged allegiance to him:

(Narrated by al-Bukhari no. 7056, Muslim no. 1709)

4. Supplicating for the Leader

The Prophet ï·º said:

> “The best of your leaders are those whom you love and they love you, you supplicate for them and they supplicate for you. And the worst of your leaders are those whom you hate and they hate you, you curse them and they curse you.” It was asked, “O Messenger of Allah, shall we not fight them with the sword?” He said: “No, as long as they establish the prayer among you. If you see something you dislike from your rulers, dislike their action, but do not withdraw your hand from obedience.”
